Interested in Competitive Gymnastics?  How do you
get to be on Team?

All of our Recreational Gymnastics students learn Level 2
competitive routine skills, from forward rolls, cartwheels,
handstands, headstands on floor, to pullovers and casting
on bars, mount and dismount on beam, and arm swing on
vault.

Our coaching staff is trained to see the potential in even the
youngest student.  We constantly evaluate and move
students up to more demanding classes as we see fit.  We
not only look at skill, but how hard a student works as well
as how focused they are in the gym.  Our staff chooses our
Team members and it is by invitation only.

Being on Team takes a special dedication, from students
and parents.  Team training goes on all year long.  Our
team trains for 2-3 hours 2-3 times a week in the summer
(depending on Level).  In the fall and spring team girls are
required to be in the gym twice a week and higher levels
must train 3-4 days a week.  Sometimes it is hard to have
other activities when you are on team.

Being on Team can be a bit expensive.  The training time
alone as well as meet fees, travel, leotards and warm-ups.
We are working on some sponsorships from local
businesses to help off-set some of these costs.
